Well we were back at the Dr's today. It TOOK FOREVER!!! The US part was quick. We were very excited to finally see the baby again. This time it really looked like a baby! VERY exciting! You could see Jose's anticipation waiting for the picture to come up on the screen. His eyes got real big when he saw it moving around. And boy was it moving. It was like doing kickboxing in there!!! So much, the tech had to wait a while to get a good measurement of the spine. Definitely hit home with us. You could distinguish the toes and fingers and head, brain etc. I was in awe. I know Jose can't wait to be wiping that tooshie! I swear I could have watched that Ultrasound all day. The heart rate was at 160 which means he/she was wide awake and very active. The decaf coffee I had probably didn't help much;) Our next apt is next month, but I won't get another US until Feb, and hopefully we will know whether its a boy or girl around that time. It can't get here fast enough. Hopefully the holidays will help get my mind off it for a while least. Have lots of baking to do. Thanks for all the well wishes!
So you got the Jenks family split with Dad and Claudia voting it's a girl and me and Mom say it's a boy! We haven't polled Pat and Ana yet, so we'll see. Can't wait to find out I'm right! haha! just kiddin' A healthy baby Pineda is all we ask for!
